NewYork-Presbyterian Queens has installed a Roofing Services Of New York NY that will help reduce stormwater and sewer overflow into nearby waterways like Flushing Bay and Gowanus Canal. The project is part of PlaNYC, the city’s sustainability initiative. Roofing Services Of New York NY also shade and cool buildings, and improve air quality and property values. They require minimal energy to operate.
Roof Replacement
The historic roof of Short Hills Train Station will undergo a major replacement project this year. The work is expected to take four to six weeks to complete. The construction will affect train service during this time. The station is located abutting the NYC train line. Parents have been complaining about the duration of the construction. The SCA says it is working hard to complete the project as soon as possible. They also say that COVID-19 has been a factor in the delay.
M+S provided consulting and estimating support services for this contract. Work included terracotta repairs and replacement, masonry repair and repointing, roof repairs and reconstruction of the roof bulkheads and cast iron fire escapes. Breathable coatings were applied to all elevations. The Lehman Hall Residential Hall at SUNY Potsdam was completed in several phases.
